First of all, I don't go to a park often now a days. I used to go to a river side park of my city. I generally went there with her.We spend so many sunset there. We watched kids playing there but neither we played or read books there. We used to stand at the river bank and watch the play of light and colors on sky and we loved that. That park was with me in some happy and dark moments of my life.

Great job! Wonderful that park, you should try to go there now and then!
First of all, I don't often (adverbs of frequency are placed before the main verb) go to a park often nowadays. I used to go to a riverside park of my city. I generally went there with her( you probably mean your girlfirend, so because you didn't refer to a woman earlier on, you need to mention it ).We spent (spend-spent-spent) so many sunsets there. We watched kids playing there but neither of us we played or read books there. We used to stand at the river bank and watch the play of light and colors in the sky and we loved that. That park was with me in some happy and dark moments of my life. ( or you can put it that way: That park was there for me in some happy and dark moments of my life. but I hope it will be only for happy moments from now on.)
Nowadays. I generally went there with her ??? With whom? :-)))))))
Good job! :-)
You are a very romantic person. :-)
I would say:
i don't often go to the park
nowadays
riverside
i used to go there with her (or i would go there with her if you want to avoid repetitions)
but we neither watched or read books there
in the sky
The image of that park was with me at some happy and dark moments...
Woooooooooooooow....excellent!!!

Very well written and a complex use of language. You are to be congratulated. The points I see are the same as mentioned by others.
