Job Description
In this role you will lead the development of the LiveMocha web service while providing strong technical leadership in the design and architecture of the system.Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and strong leadership in the architecture of LiveMocha’s next generation service.
- Responsible for design and development of key components and features of the LiveMocha product.
- Participate in architecture, scalability and optimization of the LiveMocha system
- Conceptualize and innovate on new principles, concepts and technologies impacting LiveMocha’s customers.
- 8+ years software design and development experience, with a minimum 4 years of server-side development.
- Recent, demonstrable experience architecting and implementing highly available Internet-based consumer websites and experience scaling the system to high volume of users.
- Strong object oriented programming and design skills.
- Experience with Database design and programming.
- Strong hands-on experience working with web technologies (e.g. Apache, Rails, PHP, Java, MySQL).
- Experience in building 3 tier web applications.

- Responsible for design and development of media rich UI components and features of the LiveMocha product using technologies like AJAX, Flash, HTML and supporting technology.
- Responsible for design of the LiveMocha consumer web flows and consumer experience.
- Conceptualize and innovate on new principles, concepts and technologies impacting LiveMocha’s customers
- Diagnose problems and design solutions.
- 4+ years software design and UI development experience.

- Community/ Blog Outreach: Engage communities, build credibility and engagement
- Social Design: Understands and has experience building services that users are passionate about, evangelize for, and participate in.
- Analytics: Experience using full-featured web analytics software to gather insights on user activity and measure efficacy of marketing programs.

This position requires an experienced and passionate professional with skills that span the entire product management spectrum: long-term product vision, instinctive customer-centricity and understanding of the user experience, awareness of competitive offerings and dynamics, willingness to take ownership of high-priority projects, and detail-oriented requirements documentation.
- Market Analysis: Analyze competitive threats, customer behavior, and market opportunities to help identify new opportunities, and build a business case and organizational consensus for Product initiatives
- Product Planning: Work with the Executive Team, Marketing Staff, a talented Software Development team to define requirements and specifications to build highly-engaging and usable Internet applications and features.
- Analysis: Monitor customer lifecycle and usability metrics to evaluate effectiveness of Product features.
