The Statue of Liberty is a landmark in New York. The French people gave it to the American people as a gift in the year 1886. The Statue of Liberty is a monument for remembering friendship between the two countries. The Statue of Liberty shows a woman standing. She is holding a torch in one hand, and a book in the other hand. Artists made the statue from copper. The statue is 46.5 meters tall.
