Instructions: Please recite the following paragraph. Press the 'add audio submission' button to record and submit this exercise.

I am going to Japan next year. I am going there for my friend's wedding. The airport is in Tokyo, but the wedding is in Kobe. We will go by train from Tokyo to Kobe. The trip takes about five hours. After the wedding, we will go to Osaka by subway for a party. The wedding guests will come from all over the world: from China, India, the U.S., Canada, and even Mexico. Of course, many guests will be from Japan.

    Excellent, Lina!

Two words that you should reveiew: going and Kobe.

In normal speech, many times going is pronounced goin without any g sound. However, it is more correct to place a little emphasis on the g...at the least so that it can be heard:)

Also, Kobe is pronunced with a long e on the end....so you hear the e. Sometimes, it is pronounced as if the e were a long a sound.

    \ˈkō-bē, -ˌbā\

Terrific Lina.  Kobe as per Stacy's comment.  In terms of accent perhaps try and speak more from the chest with deeper breaths and slightly softer sound.  Difficult for me to explain exactly what I mean but have a listen to me.
