This was a little difficult to hear well. But after trying two times, I did get most of it. Although it lacked in volume, your pronouciation was clear.

Good, I think you should slow down a little, try to pronounce each word . I could understand everything you said, except the name of your province. In spite of these small things I think you are doing really well , especially for a beginner. Keep the great work, soon you will be perfect.

Very clear English, you are easy to understand. I will look on a map of China to locate your province.

When pronouncing words with more than two syllables like “studying,” “ communicate,” and “acquire” we should pronounce all syllables. I don’t know what system of phonetics you use, so I’ll write it this way. Studying STUH di ying Communicate co MU ni kate Acquire uh KWAI yer Also, remember that in English we “link” words that end in a consonant when they are followed by words that start with a vowel. So, “my name is Amy” is pronounced like “my na mis zamy.” We do not stop between the words. Linking is often written like this: my name‿ is‿ Amy. I could not hear the final sound of “knowledge” when you spoke the word. It ends with a soft “juh” sound. Otherwise, everything is A-OK.

Hello Amy, Thank you for asking me to review your work and I apologze for the delay in doing so. This is a good effort to explain to others who you are and why you want to learn another language. My suggestions would be that write down on paper what it is you wish to speak about and record and practice this until you are happy with your speech. Speak more slowly and take your time. You have all the time in the world. Try pronouncing each syllable - unit of spoken language - so study would be stud-di and studying would be stud-di-ying; communicate would be ke-mewni-kayt; acquire would be a-kwir. You are doing well for a beginner and you have confidence which helps enormously. Keep up the good work. Kind regards, John
