Good stuff Natijami! However, be careful with your 'at thes' You seem to link these two in sound. To my ears they come across like 'atter-the post........' for example. I know it's difficult when you have a 't' ending followed by a 'th' beginning. I'm going to be naughty and give you a tip that must not be used in any examinations! You could always soften the 'th' and exchange it for a very quiet 'd' but don't be too hard on it! Take the 't' away from 'at' and away from 'the' and put the little 'd' in the middle. Softly does it and you will sound really convincing! Of course you should finally go with the absolute correct way, but to be honest, in England, the most spoken English has a lot of lazy tricks in it like the one I've suggested. Naturally though, in an unconscious way. I've included an audio for your enjoyment! ;O) Firstly, I pronounce how you sound to me. Then I try to pronounce 100% correctly with perfect 'th' (probably not perfect!) Finally I pronounce with a 'd' Hope all of this helps a little and makes sense. So, keep up the good work, bye for now, Brian :O) PS: Will send you an audio in another comment because at the moment it seems I have a technical problem! Have to reboot!

Very good! I agree with Brian about the "at the", it soundet like "atter the". In his recording he pronounced it correctly, although, you repeated the firts sentence he said which was wrong, in his comment he said he'd first say what you said, then he'd pronounce it correctly and finally he'd give the tip. So, again: "He is at the post office" I hope it helps!

Hi Natalja! I think your pronunciation is very good. Great Job!! The issue with the words "at the" I think is just one of practice. I would practice just the word "at" first until you have that perfected. Then add "the" and I believe it will help you if you sort of run the two words together... almost like they are one word. When practicing the word "at" the emphasis on the letter "t" is very light, or minimal. Your English is very good. I'm sorry, but I'm not hearing what everyone else is hearing. I'm not hearing "atter" in there. It just sounds like you're giving the letter "t" in "at" a little more emphasis than required. You speak English very well!!! I'm going to leave an audio clip for reference. Great Work!!

Hello again! Ok, finally I would have to agree with Ron. Practice is really the only solution. I also have to agree that your English is on an extremely high level so don't over work this one, difficult area! Sometimes I think one can become too over-conscious of a problem area and end up feeling even more frustrated the more you try to perfect it! Give it a break and come back to it some other time. You'll be more relaxed. The next point is...there's absolutely nothing wrong with having an accent to your English. I mean, there are so many different English accents!! It adds colour and interest! You have an accent, that's great!! Listen to Ron's accent. It's beautiful! The main thing is to be understood and I understand you! Some of the Northeners from England are really not understandable to myself who is a Southerner!! Anyway, less of my natter....sending you best wishes and keep going with your impressive language skills! Byeeeeee! :O)
