English Speaking Exercise
Great job. In particular, your pronunciation of "silver" is really excellent! That's a good "v" sound there.
I'm recording the word "girl." Your pronunciation is not bad, but it could be improved. I think Japanese people think "ガル” and that affects their pronunciation in English, but it's less of a "ga" sound and more of a "gir" sound.
Get Flash string(11) "transparent"
I agree with Anyaletta~
andGREEN - グリーン
Girl is pronunced like it has an "a" but you have to say it like it has a "ur". Silver has two syllables, not three. So pronunce it Sil.ver not Si.ru.ver.
I thought this was great, and your doing well, just get used to words pronunced a bit different in English.
Good job!
Check the pronunciation of "girl","houses" and "purse".
Get Flash string(11) "transparent"
Your pronounciation is excellent!
When saying "girl" and "purse" (these sound the same) remember to emphasize the "url" and "urse" part. Practice these, then add the "ga" for "girl" and "pu" (pronounced huh) for "purse".
Great job!
