Hi Dr Steve,

How are you doing? Can we meet in your office at 5:00 PM? I need some help from you to solve some problems about my neighbors, because they bother me during the night. They had a party in their apartment and I can't sleep well because of the noise and mess that they did.

Catch you later,

Roberto

Well done! You say "to make noise" and to make a mess", not "to do".

    Hi Roberto

Please note that both "some help  from you" and "your help" is correct so you did not have a grammatical error. Your help” is  brief two words compared to four words "some help  from you".

Since you need help it suggests that this problem has happened before so you can say.  Again, they had a party in their apartment....

    OR

For the tenth time this month, they had a party in their apartment...,

and the mess that they made...

What is important to understand here is that it is an informal message. (The exercise notes informal note)  It is not official and the salutations (greetings) and complimentary close and abbreviated usage of the language (your e.g. I can't sleep well) you used is acceptable in the note instead of the formal (I cannot sleep well), Yours sincerely, etc.

    So, your exercise was EXCELLENT.

Your sentences were in the active voice and not passive voice, which is also important in informal notes.  It tells that you are writing to someone with whom you have a casual or familiar relationship (a colleague) This was what the exercise requested.  The passive voice is used when the receive of the action is more important that the doer.

    GOOD WORK!

I can't sleep well because of the noise and mess that they made.

Nikki has made some good and careful notes.  However, I think authenticity is important also.  You honestly reflect a sensibility that is Brazilian, not American from the United States.  So, while she is correct, I believe you are authentic, and that is important too.
