I bought two t-shirts and black shoes. its It cost between 100-150 Egyptian pounds.
Hi Amr_LorD,
When talking about the black shoes you bought, we would probably say a pair of black shoes." We usually always say a pair of shoes. (Pair means two of something.) We say a pair of shoes. We say a pair of gloves. It is used for things that come in a set of two like gloves and shoes. We also say a pair of pants, and I think this is because pants have two legs on them.
The English word "pound" means one pound. Because the things you bought cost more than one pound, you need to use "pounds". Pounds is the plural of pound and means more than one pound.
The English word "it" is a pronoun that can be used to repesent the t-shirt and pair of shoes you bought. "Its" is an English word also but it cannot be used in this way to represent the things you bought.
Email me if you have questions or if I did not say this clearly for you. I'm here to help you. You are doing well. Keep up the good work. : )
This is how your submission should read. I will put the things that I corrected in bold print. -
