A popular drink is Aguilla, It is a beer and another popular drink is the Aguardiente means literally "burning water", because It has very much alcohol. This liquid is derived from sugar cane.
A popular meal is the "Bocachico frito". It is a fried fish from maddalena river usually accompanied with fish soup.
