    It's strange, but the word "everybody" in English is singular.

    El inglés y el español usan los negativas diferentemente.

    Ejemplo:

    No hay ningún dinero = There is not any money.

    Grammar tips:  The indefinite pronouns anyone, everyone, someone, no one, nobody are always singular and, therefore, require singular verbs.
