The spelling is perfect.  Your punctuation needs some changes.

"There are three people in the room My father is on the couch; he is not in the chair."

I put a period at the end of the first complete sentence.  Then I used a verb, is, after father.  I also used a semicolon to replace the comma before the independent clause "he is not in the chair."  To connect two independent clauses you cannot use a comma.  You could have ended with a period and then begin a new sentence.  "My father is on the couch.  He is not in the chair."

You should do the same with the next sentence, because the comma is between two independent clauses-each having a subject and verb making them complete sentences.

"My mother is at the table; she is not at the window."  OR "My mother is at the table.  She is not at the window."

    The last sentence is perfect.
