Needs and Wants
Instructions:
Compare “need” and “want” in sentences about six people: you and me, a boy and a girl, a man and a woman. Also, use positives and negatives of either “need” or “want” in some of the sentences. Example: I want a car, but I need to finish my college degree. She wants ice cream; she does not want broccoli.
English Writing Exercise
Pretty good!
I want a new PC, but I need to work more for that. Do you want to go to the hospital? Do you need me to get there? A boy wants to go to a park, but his mother needs to get ready for lunch at first. He wants to talk with her, but she does not want to.
This depends on what exactly you mean:
Do you need me to get there?
Do you need me to take you there?
This sounds better with "the".
A boy wants to go to a park
A boy wants to go to the park
Do you need me to get there?
'Do you want/need me to take you there?'
makes more sense.
