Transportation

Instructions: What kind of transportation do you use to get around town? What kind of transportation do you use to go on trips?

Eugene's submission: Average Rating:
This question is really urgent for our city and our country. I'm going to explain why. A lot of people know that roads of Kharkov are terrible. So I try to get to my job by subway. But at the beginning I have to get to the subway! Let’s imagine how it happens on a weekday. It is 8 a.m. I’m standing at the bus stop, I’m waiting a bus. Wow! Finally it is here! I’m getting on the bus! Great! I’m on the bus where I feel myself like a sprat into a can because of many people! This terrible rubber bus (I think it can contain infinity amount of people) starts to go. Our roads help to shake the people when the bus jumps through holes in asphalt and they feel better themselves.
Finally the bus arrives to the bus stop near the subway. All people with mad eyes get off the bus. Then I sink into the subway and get on the train where I can see a lot of people two. After a half of hour I’m on my job, hallelujah!
When I want to have a trip I prefer either train or a car. Why train? I can sleep there and have some rest.

A lot of people know that the roads of Kharkov are terrible.

I think it can hold an infinite amount of people. (contain is correct too)

    I'm waiting for a bus.

Where I can see a lot of people too. (Where I can also see a lot of people)

    (Remember two=2 and too=also)

After a half an hour, I'm at my job.

When I want to take a trip, I prefer to go either by train or (by) car.

Why the train? I can sleep and get some rest.

Wow I'm very impressed! Your paragraph was incredible and I enjoyed reading it. You're getting better and better. Congratulations!!! :-)

Very Good! Love the writing, keep up the good work!

This question is really appropriate for our city and our country. I'm going to explain why. A lot of people know that the roads in Kharkov are terrible, so I take the subway to work. To begin with, I have to get to the subway! Let’s imagine how that happens on a weekday. It is 8 a.m and I’m standing, waiting at the bus stop. Wow! Finally it is here and I get on the bus! Great! I’m on the bus where I feel like a sprat in a can because there are so many people! This terrible rubber bus (I think it can contain an infinite amount of people) starts to move. Our roads shake the people in the bus, when it hits potholes in the asphalt. Finally the bus arrives at the stop near the subway. Everyone has a mad look in their eyes as they get off the bus. Then I sink into the subway and get on the train where I also see a lot of people. After a half-hour I’m at my job, hallelujah! When I want to go on a trip I prefer either a train or a car. Why a train? Because, I can sleep and get some rest.

This question is really urgent ... (Лучше: This issue is really urgent ...)

A lot of people know that the roads of Kharkov are terrible.

So I try to get to my job by subway. (Лучше: So I try to get to work by subway.)

But first, I have to get to the subway!

Let’s imagine how it happens on a weekday. (Лучше: Let's imagine what happens on a weekday.)

I’m standing at the bus stop. I’m waiting for a bus. (Лучше: I'm standing at the bus stop, waiting for a bus.)

I’m on the bus where I feel myself like a sprat into a can because of too many people! (Я не понимаю что значит «sprat»; может быть вы упоминаете питьё «Sprite»? Если так, можете сказать, "I feel like Sprite in a can waiting to explode, because there are too many people.")

This terrible rubber bus (I think it can contain infinite amount of people) starts to go. (Лучше: This terrible rubber bus, which seems to contain an infinite number of people, starts moving.)

Our roads help to shake the people up when as the bus runs over holes in asphalt (лучше: the bus runs over pot-holes in the road) ...

... and they feel better themselves. (Это не очень ясно; может быть вы хотели сказать, "which makes them feel better than the bus" ?).

Finally the bus arrives at the bus stop by the subway.

All people with mad eyes (лучше: "with eyes rolling" или "with glassy eyes") get off the bus.

Then I descend into the subway system and get on the train where I can see a lot of people too.

After half an hour, I’m on my job (лучше: I arrive at work), hallelujah!

When I want to go on a trip, I prefer to take either the train or a car. Why the train? Because I can actually sleep there and have some rest.

Overall, you did an excellent job. Отлично!
