The two sentences are very clear, but there are some things to be careful with: 1) The first sentence should not start with a 'space' character. 2) This sentence is not completely correct - rewrite it as: Dumplings are a unique meal to China. 3) You could also write: Dumplings are unique to China. 4) In the second sentence, there should be a 'space' character after the comma. 5) Finally, the use of 'etc.' is not always a good idea, as here I would really like to know what other ingredients go into making dumplings.

Excellent, almost perfect. You left out the word "a" after are. You could either leave out the etc, or say it this way. We need flour, vegetables, meat, and etc to make dumplings. Keep up the good work.

I have to agree more with kheptril about the "etc" If you are telling someone something or trying to teach them they do not have your knowledge to know what this "etc" is meaning. Do you understand the issues here? Soup dumplings of Shanghai or any dumpling from China are so a flavorful; and excellent way to enjoy a meal, if you where to each me about it I would want every detail. And when you say "need" flour do you mean kneed as in working the flour with some water and salt to make a dough, or are you just saying flour is a ingredient that you need to make there delicious dumplings. I do not want to be such a "sticaler: here but there are detail and then THERE ARE DETAILS. Do you understand that? Your writing is very good, technically just a few things, but if you are speaking to someone who knows how to cook or is interested in the process please convey more knowledge. You have good writing skills, please do not take this as a a negative thing. I am hopeful to hear more from you very soon. Be Well Jess
