Instructions: Describe a vacation you are taking. When and where are you going? What are you going to do?

lolyoshi's submission: Average Rating:
I'm having the summer holiday. I think it's so boring because I don't have anything to do. I lay and watch TV all day. It's really terrible. My brain is empty. I couldn't think aything new. What a pity! Maybe, I need to rouse my life a little. I'm going to go to the beach next week. I need pure air. I believe waves and sand dunes will make me relaxed.

Hi Lolyoshi ! Looks quite good to me ! I am not a native speaker but I would have said : "I'm having my summer holiday" "I lay" sounds a bit odd, maybe "i stay in bed and watch tv all day long" ? "I can't think of anything new" "to rouse my life" also seems odd, maybe something like "to put some excitement in my life" ? all the best pgp

I find everything allright here... ...the only mistake I found: "I couldn't think"... that's the past form... you're talking about what's going on NOW... so the correct form is "I cannot think", or "I can't think". Bye, Roland
