What can and can’t they do?

Instructions: Write a list of rules using the vocabulary from this lesson. EX. 1. You can’t smoke in the park. 2. You can park at the restaurant but not at the library.

Hi, you can't smoke here, since no smoking is allowed in the pubilc places such as park, cinema, hospital, school etc., you can only smoke in the fixed points. You can park the car near the resturants, but can't part it at the libarary. Please always remember these realed rules.

    很好！ Just a few corrections: "... in public places such as parks, cinemas, hospitals, schools, etc." no "the" before public, and remember to use the plural "restaurants" misspelled "realed" this is not a word, I'm not sure what you meant to say.

    you can only smoke in the fixed points中的point用得不是很好吧？它有地方，地点的意思吗？好象是没有。所以，把这一个词换一下吧。 当然，上面的朋友也给你指出了你的拼写错语，realed，没有这个词。 有一个好方法可以避免你在网上打字时出现错误拼写，那就是安装一个英文版的FireFox。它是一个非常好的网络浏览器。如果你用它打开LiveMocha，关做书面练，在你打字的同时，电脑也在忙着检查你的拼写，你每打一个空格上去，电脑都会检查你刚打的那个空格前的那个单词的拼写。所以，当你打完 realed 后而在 realed 后面打上空格时，这个单词下面会有一个红色的下划线，那就是在提示你这个单词有拼写错误。 对了，你还得注意一下定冠词 the 的用法。你在这个练习中的 the 都用错了。因为你所提到的地点都是泛指的，不是特指的。如果你用的不是名词复数形式，那就建议你把你写的那些 the 换成 a ，当然，元开头的名词前要用 an 。
