I'm from China, a small town separated by the Heilong river to face Russia. My name is Zhao Jie. It is different from the names in western. In fact, Zhao is my family name which is given by my father and can't be changed. It comes from a piece of interestint Chinese history or, maybe you can say, fairy tale. A man called Zao Fu was a good driver of one of the kings of one of the oldest empire called Zhou. With his superb skills of driving, the king succeeded in arriving in the capital in time to subside the rebellion. It made the king very happy. So he bestowed the place called Zhao to him. He and his descendant use Zhao as their family since. Jie means brilliance in Chinese which reposes the my parents' great hope in me. I am tall and thin. It may benefit from the descent that I get from my great grandmother who is a Russian. I'm outgoing and would like to make friends. Learning language is also my fondness. I think it is a great tool to community with other and gain my knowledge.

different from western names or different from names in the west (western is an adjective) maybe the word driver isn't appropriate. It sounds like he was driving a car. Was he on a horse? A good horsemen....superb riding skills. He and his descendants use Zhao as their family name ever since. ...which reflects my parents'... It may be a benefit of descent from my grandmother.... to community with others or to community with other people and to increase my knowledge or and to gain knowledge. I am lucky to have you for a pupil!
