Describing Objects

Instructions: Describe a set of objects on a table. Describe another set of objects in a box. EX. The flowers are on the table, and the candy is in the box.

    The woman - is singular so use is women - plural so use are The lamp is on the table. The box is on the table. The books are in the box. Correct and rewrite it

    Hi Joselia, how r u? Well good attempt Joselia. But still few things u need to look upon. First of all as nbrajan mentioned that with singular we use is, and with plural we use are. Therefore, in first line: The woman is at the table. Secondly, after a comma, we don`t start with a capital letter. untill n unless it is a noun. ( A noun is a name of a person place or a thing) . Which I might have told u about in your other submission. So, in first line: The woman is at the table, the flowers are on the table. Thirdly, your last three sentences are different from each other, so instead of using comma in between u should use a full stop. Like, The coin is in the box. The boxes are at the box. The food is in the box. Any ways it was really a good attempt. So keep it up, and keep practicing. Best Wishes < Take Care >
