Last place I went on vacation was Acapulco in Guerrero, which is more or less a 4 hour drive from Mexico city, so this makes i, Mexico city's favorite weekend place for millions of mexicans. It is kinda expensive for the highway tickets you have to pay, but it is worth it.

You know your english is excellent...

    just some suggestions:

    -"so this makes it (?)...

-you could also say "It is kinda expensive due to the highway tickets you have to pay..." but the way you wrote it works too

Mexico City -- both words are part of the city name so capitalize both words

Kinda is a pronunciation spelling of the words kind of.  It is not a word in the English language!

You want to write the word rather in this sentence!

It is similar to these spellings:  otta, gonna, wanna, etc.
