English Writing Exercise
My favorite restaurant is a Chinese family restaurant. They serve dishes like, fried vegetables, noodles, dumplings, and fried rice. They are all very nice, but I like fried noodles with seafood the best.
Excellent! Wow! I want to try some Chinese fried noodles right now. 美味しいそうだと思います!
In English, we don't use the word "cuisine" in this case; we just say "Chinese restaurant." You could also say, "restaurant that serves Chinese food." (中国の食べ物を作るレストラン)
Also, because "fried noodles" is a common noun, not a proper noun, we would say "I like fried noodles," not "I like a fried noodle."
Thank you Jean-Claude for your corrections! I feel sorry, because I also write journals in English on Lang-8, they always point out same mistakes for me - a/the and common/proper nouns.
I will be really careful. Thanks for your advice :-)
