i was the shopping in the las weekend. i bought a ice hockey gloves, that was very expensive... but i needed to much. Then i went to buy a Shirt for my girlfriend. that is all.

    I understood what you were saying, but (there is always a "but" isn't there?) this is how I would have wrote it:

    I went shopping last weekend.  I bought ice hockey gloves that were very expensive.  But, I needed them.  Then, I bought a shirt for my girlfriend.  That is all I purchased.
