Last year I visited Mykonos ,a Greek island and it was beautiful!! I thought it was strange that the local people there wake up late,and stay out all night until early morning.Its a very light and fun setting with discos,gay life,lots of fun,drinking and dancing dominating the island during the summer.
In keeping with my lifestyle as a new parent of an infant,my wife and I had a completely different rythm.Our schedule took us to the beach in the early mornings,when it was fairly empty.Very nice experience!!
