There are four members in my family: my parents, a younger brother and I.
I am the older child. < write like this if you are comparing between yourself and your younger brother. (Comparison between 2 objects)
eg: I am the taller girl. She is the smarter girl. That is the richer man. You are the younger boy in the family.
I am the oldest child < write like this if you are comparing with more than one other person. (comparing with more than one object)
eg. I am the shortest girl in class. You are the poorest man in the village. They are the luckiest students in that fully sponsored school.
