The (elephant is old and heavy and/old, heavy elephant) is sitting in a (clean? what is a clean?). There are small fishes. A small dog and a big dog are eating. The man is (wearing?) clean shoes. I am small and not heavy. The place is cold. The new car is expensive and the old car is cheap. The food is hot.

Some things made no sense, but overall it was good.

Livemocha Expert EXPERT REVIEW (What is this?)

An elephant is heavy and dirty.

The people are sitting. [We use sit and set differently. We sit on a chair, but we set a plate on the table, for example.]

The desk on the leth a chair. [Humm...do you mean "The desk on the left has a chair" or "There is a leather chair at the desk" or what? Sorry.]

Someone is shoes clean. [Let's see. Maybe this should be "Someone is cleaning the shoes" or "Someone is wearing clean shoes."]

The big dog and small cat are sitting.

Que bom! Even without any changes, most people could understand what you mean here, but I have left a few suggestions for you to improve your grammar. I hope I have explained my reasoning well here.
