    "Soy médico no soy cartero" : It's very well. But "tu soy cartero no soy medico" is so wrong ! You can write: "tu eres cartero no eres médico" refering to "you". Or you can write: "Soy cartero no soy médico" refering to yourself. Bye and good luck.
