La Statue de la Liberté est un monument de New York. Les Français l’ont offerte en cadeau aux Américains en 1886. La Statue de la Liberté est un monument servant à commémorer l’amitié entre les deux pays. La Statue de la Liberté montre une femme debout. Elle tient une torche d’une main, et un livre de l’autre. Des artistes ont fabriqué la statue en cuivre. Elle fait 46,5 mètres de haut.
