Two Shopping Trips

Mme Smith cherche une nouvelle robe et un cadeau pour son fils aujourd’hui. Hier, elle a regardé plusieurs robes dans un autre magasin, mais elle ne les a pas aimées. En ce moment, Mme Smith décide entre une robe jaune et une robe bleue. Finalement, elle décide d’acheter la robe rouge qui coûte 200 dollars. Elle ne sait toujours pas quoi acheter pour son fils. Hier, elle a regardé des pulls, des chemises, et des pantalons pour lui. Aujourd’hui, Mme Smith regarde un nouveau ballon de foot pour son fils. Finalement Mme Smith achète une nouvelle montre pour son fils. Mme Smith est fatiguée et ne veut plus faire du shopping.

    Attention!  For the word "fils", you say "fi" instead of "fisse".  Please note that the final "s" of a word is usually silent, but there are a few exceptions like:

    fils - ours - mars - autobus - os  -  vis  - tournevis  -  fleur de lys - sens

    and a couple more!

    Listen to my audio also for the word "aimées".

    You pronounce "pOUll" instead of "pUll".

    Finally, careful not to pronouce "jeune" (young) as the word "jaune" (yellow) almost sound like the word "jeune".
