French Writing Exercise Describing People and Objects
Instructions:
Describe people and objects, including both singular and plural forms. Use both positive and negative statements. Ex. We are women. We are not men. This is a gold coin. These are not yellow flowers.
Make this exercise again and warn me. Here we study the demonstrative adjectives:
Ex. : Ces fleurs ne sont pas rouges. Elles sont bleues.
Ces is a demonstrative adjective.
Ceci, cela, ce (or c') are demonstrative pronouns, it take the place of the subject or object. Don't use it here.
Demonstrative adjectives: ce (or cet), cette (feminine) and ces (plural). Cet is used front a vowel of masculine noun: cet homme, cet arbre, etc...
Ceci est une fille avec des fleurs jaunes. Ceci est un homme et une voiture. Ceci sont des fleurs avec des arbres. Ceci est une femme et un garçon. Ceci sont des pièces argentées avec des pièces dorées.
Mais ça serait bien de changer les "ceci" par un autre mot...
