das Buch = neutrum...therefore... -es
das Auto.. ein neues Auto
das Fahrrad.. ein schönes Fahrrad
das Essen... ein gutes Essen
das Klassenzimmer.. ein neues Klassenzimmer... and so on
Sieht jemand etwas Komisches im Fernseher? (der Fernseher= noun... but... fernsehen=the verb... ich sehe fern, ich werde fernsehen... and so on)
in this case... das Komische... etwas Komisches (something funny...) komisch is here capitalized...das Komische..
but:
der komische Fernseher..how is it?.. komisch
das komische Buch
der komische Mann... here you have after komisch your noun and "komisch" describes only the noun.. so it is not capitalized... :)

or you could write:
