Instructions:

Dear Jacques, I hope that my explanations will be helpful for you!"Auf dem Parkplatz es gibt dreihundertzehn Autos." --> When a sentence in German begins with an adverb, adjective, object, time expression or place, then the subject of the sentence must follow the main verb for instance in your example"Auf dem Marktplatz"--> expression of place"es gibt"--> subject followed by verb is not correct, it should have been vice versa! "GIBT ES!" OK ;)
"Wie viel Tage gibt es in eine Woche?"In this case, after the preposition IN, your are supposed to your the DATIV CASE in German. This means that, the Nominativ case (the regular case) DIE WOCHE, if DIE follows the preposition in, your use DER! The indefinite article EINE thus becomes EINER! You may find it difficult but I can provide you with some good explanations and examples later on.
"Auf das Foto, sehe Ich..." the same rules applies to the preposition AUF, after AUF you are supposed to use the DATIV case. This means that, DAS turns into DEM!
