Describing People and Objects

Instructions: Describe people and objects, including both singular and plural forms. Use both positive and negative statements. Ex. We are women. We are not men. This is a gold coin. These are not yellow flowers.

    Tu sei non alto ma lei è bassa.>Tu non sei alto , ma lei è bassa . I would use "però" instead of "ma" or "invece" : tu non sei alto però/invece lei è bassa. "L'edificio" "L'uomo" : see above for the uses of "ma" . "argenteo" : use "argentata" or "grigia metallizata" . The last one is better if you're talking about cars . Tu sei intelligente ma non stupido>omit "ma" . It is used if you want to play up two difference opposite qualities , but if you're talking about different thing,people etc . For example . 1.Tu sei intelligente , non stupido . 2.Tu sei intelligente , ma lui è stupido . I hope this help. Ciao :)
