    the "aggettivi" follow the subjet (singolar or plural).

    "Gli edifici sono neri"

    "L'edificio è nero"

    if there is "di" (ex.."d'oro= di oro" contract form), that means "of" , you must use singolar(most time)..."made of gold"="d'oro"
