Mandarin Chinese Writing Exercise
Describing People
Describe six different people, using two descriptive words each: a woman, a man, a boy, a girl, you and me. Ex. The boy is young. The boy is tall.
一 ) 這 個 女子 是 很 高 和 老.
二 ) 這 個 男子 是 很 黑 暗 的.
三) 這 個 男 孩 兒 是 漂 亮 和 好 的.
四) 這 個 女 孩 兒 是 聪 明 和 用 功.
五) 你 是 很 高 的 和 很 宜 人 的.
六) 我 是 很 老 和 很 愚 笨 的.
二 ) 這 個 男子 是 很 黑 暗 的.
三) 這 個 男 孩 兒 是 漂 亮 和 好 的.
四) 這 個 女 孩 兒 是 聪 明 和 用 功.
五) 你 是 很 高 的 和 很 宜 人 的.

你不能老把and翻译成和,这样太生硬了,不符合中文习惯.并不是所有and都翻译成和．比如：这个女孩儿是聪明和用功．（这个女孩儿又聪明又用功。）而且不能说女孩儿是聪明和用功，这样意思虽然表达对了，可这并不是正确的中文...Rate This Review 0 0

第一句去掉是，女子一般都说的是年轻人，这里只能说女人；第二句中男人和黑暗没关系；去掉是；把是改成很，后面再加上的；第五句没看懂。Rate This Review 0 0

1.Plz dun put"is"with adjective,we just put "is"with noun.eg:这个女子很高很老or这个女子是个高又老的人,when using "is" plz put it with a noun or adjective and noun.. 2.In English we also say someone is dark mean his/her skin is dark..but in Chinese we say 这人很黑or这人很白..just use black and white will be ok,黑暗means someting is hopeless lol,这人很黑暗mean this guy is not good... 3.Plz use"帅"to descirbe a boy...[漂亮]=pretty [帅]=handsome [好看]=good looks fit both boy and girl^-^ 4.[宜人]=pleasant I think..we often say someplace or somefoot is pleasant but hardly say someone is a pleasant person..[友善]=kind 5Finally...U are not old and stupit lol,you r good looks and clever^-^Rate This Review 0 0 -
