Software Development Engineer, Core Services
Livemocha is looking for a Software Development Engineer to contribute to development of its core service oriented infrastructure for its next generation platform. The Core Services Engineer will design, build and maintain systems that support user and content management for a global language education platform. Candidates for this role must have demonstrated experience developing in a service oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in building highly functional middleware for large scale distributed systems. This is a rare opportunity to work on a project from whiteboard to deployment to data-driven iterative improvement. The work will be extremely hands-on with all team members contributing directly to both design and production code. Candidates who have a track record of excelling in highly collaborative, team oriented environments are preferred.
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
- 5 or more years experience as a professional server side software engineer using Java or C# as the primary programming language.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and programming with SQL.
- Working understanding of object oriented design principles and practice.
- Practical understanding of operational considerations for distributed systems.
- Experience in development of live, data intensive back end systems with requirements for both batch and real-time processing.
- Experience with large scale data management.
- Practical understanding of test driven development and automated quality control.
- Experience working in an agile program management environment.

- Experience with contemporary frameworks for data storage.

Senior Front End Web Developer:
We are looking for a rock star front end developer to help us take our site to the next level. You will play a critical role in the design and development of the consumer facing Livemocha user interface. Your work will be viewed by millions of customers and have a sizable impact on the creative direction of Livemocha as we move forward. You’re a savvy technologist and you have the portfolio to prove it. You will have the opportunity to take lead on writing customer facing web pages on the site that includes the end to end Ecommerce experiences. Responsibilities:
- Develop optimized, cross-platform front-ends in CSS/XHTML/Javascript, and work with the middle-tier PHP code to support it

We are looking for an Enterprise sales Director who has a proven track record of selling enterprise SaaS or software technology, preferably with educational content at the Enterprise level. You should know how to hunt and have a strong presence and communication skills that will allow you to effectively communicate with decision makers at all levels.
In this role, you will drive sales and product development by utilizing your intuitive business sense to help customers understand how to best use our software to solve business needs and to provide customer feedback and requests to product management and engineering for new feature and software development.
A strong predictor of success for this person includes someone who has a track record of over-achievement, self management and motivation, is driven to perform at a consistently high level, and intuitively understands and manages a sales cycle. This person should have a very outgoing and congenial personality, and must successfully interact and collaborate with all internal resources, including CRMs, inside territory managers (who they will be very closely partnered with), sales engineers, and other key managers in the organization. This person must be disciplined, professional, have an outstanding attention to detail, be thorough, and likeable.

Enterprise Sales – Inside Sales Representative

Working in an inside sales capacity on the Livemocha enterprise sales team, this individual contributor will be charged with helping to secure revenue-generating deals for the Livemocha SaaS recommendation engine on top tier Enterprise clients. The Inside Sales Representative will be fully responsible for their territory. You will be teamed with Outside Sales Representatives and Sales Engineers when necessary to maximize revenue productivity and accelerate deal flow in each region
Must be comfortable representing the leading-edge SaaS applications in a complex, multi-level, selling environment. Individual must be highly effective in navigating all facets of the enterprise sales process; from prospecting to discovery to pitching to negotiation to closing. Ability to progress deals over the phone is key. Prior success selling into complex customer environments is essential. Individual must be able to think creatively, sell strategically and communicate efficiently internally and externally. They will have a strong desire to succeed, and to continually develop their personal and professional skills.
Specific responsibilities include:- Selling Livemocha’s product recommendation engine SaaS application to the top Enterprise clients on the Globe.
- Continuously prospect and pitch new clients to secure incremental revenue by closing new business.
- Shepherd client relationships from the early stages of the sales process through to post-sales setup and integration.

Additional Skills:
- Prioritize and organize sales calls for maximum revenue impact
