bela= it's an adjective
curto it is a adjective that we use for things, for people we use baixo(a).
curto it is antonym of longo (long)= for things
baixo(a) it is antonym of alto(a)=for people and things
grande in Portuguese it is an adjective that we can use (vulgar) like rich (rico).
grande= big, large, power, respectable, rich person; it is antonym of small.
