Hi James! Your text is very good. The correction by Giovane and WSN is right. In the sentence "o homem não tem sete cachorros, ele tem seis cachorros", isn't necessary to say "cachorro" twice. But this is only about stylistic, the sentence is ok. Sorry for my English...
