Though I'm not entirely sure what to put here, I suppose I'll just start this off by noting that I have a passion for language -- specifically, English; but I'm working on broadening my horizons by becoming fluent (or at least strongly acquainted with) as many languages as possible. I am also greatly immersed in literature/poetry ... again, mostly English, although whenever possible I check out poems/write personal things in other languages, or read works written in a foreign dialect, translated into English. On top of all this, I would like to major in linguistics and study Universal Grammar to such an extent that any language becomes decipherable to me.
