  • First, my political philosophy: I am a utilitarian.  I have libertarian leanings, but they are somewhat inconsistent.  Government can solve and create problems.  Democracy is imperfect but far better than the alternative.  I believe in national self-determination.  On the political spectrum I might fall somewhere around "moderate progressive."  Maybe.
