Tutor

  • I Teach: English, French
  • My Resume: I have prior experience teaching ESL and I enjoy tutoring others in English and French.  I write for a living and have a fairly strong grasp of the rules of English (American) grammar, punctuation and syntax.  I've helped students at all levels with their English, I can also help begining French students. I've had some good success helping Americans improve their French accents.

For many years I taught computers to adults (which is the basis of my "yes" response to the "are you a professional" question).  I am very patient, speak with "standard" American accent, and have some awareness of (and ability to explain) the differences between American and British English.
