I am British, but have been living in France for 25 years, so although my French is not my mother tongue it is more then fluent. ;). My interests are music, technology and things I don't know. That leaves plenty of scope! I already have 30 LiveMocha friends, so sorry I cannot accept anymore, I just don't have the time to help everybody.

Tutor

  • I Teach: English
  • My Teaching Level: Advanced
  • My Resume: I was a qualified teacher at the start of my career, but not for languages (Mathematics, Computer Science and Music were my subjects). Since then I have learnt French the "natural" way, by living and working in France for 25 years. I think motivation and direct contact with the language is more important than grammar. Live something that you are passionate about in the language you are trying to learn and it will happen. Grammar is a useful backup to give some framework. As those are my views on language teaching, I expect I am more adapted to more advanced learners.
