    Creo que tu parráfo podría ir algo así: He recibido unos libros de cocina de mi madre para mi cumpleaños. Puedo cocinar, pero rara vez horneo. A mis hijos les gusta comer pasteles a menudo. La última vez, mi esposo y yo les dimos a los niños una cámara. Eran muy felices. Tu parráfo está bastante bien ¡¡Felicidades!! :)

    Hornear = Hornear pasteles, pan, galletas, etc Freir = Freir papas, pollo, bistec, etc Tu párrafo me parece muy bien, aunque chequea esta otra forma: "He recibido unos libros de cocina de mi madre para mi cumpleaños. Yo cocino, pero pocas veces horneo. A mis hijos les gusta comer pasteles a menudo. La última vez, mi esposo y yo les regalamos a los niños una cámara. Estaban muy felices." :-)
