    Hola Dora.

Mi billetera está vacía.  No está llena

According to your comments, I concluded that we use (es) when we talk about "quantities" .. sizes, weights, colors, heights, lengths .... etc.

And on the other hand, we use (esta) when we talk about the "current condition" of the adjectives.

    Por ejemplo:

El hombre está (feliz, triste, solitario ... etc) !!

Thank you so much Dora .. you are an angel :)
