'and' not needed here
My best friend is very beautiful. She has brown curly hair. She is of average height and slim.
very well!
go on! ^^
You know the order of adjectives would be more observed if you said:
.........She has curly brown hair....
I mean the color of hair best be before the word hair and after curly.
And, of course, well done to the author as well.
I'm sure she is as beautiful as you are.
but I've one question..
You write "She is of average height and slim."
I wonder "She is average of height and slim."
is this true?
Do you have her phone number? :p
No. Corinne's usage is indeed correct. "Of" is a very versatile preposition, with about 20 different meanings! Here it's assuming one of "belong to a group." Yes, I just invoked it in that manner.
Essentially, she's categorizing people in to above average height, average height and below average height. OF those 3 groups, her friend belongs to the 2nd group. Same concept applies for the groups of robust/average/slim builds.
Just one point ... curly brown hair ...
Don't care any other opinion
Be careful with ugly guys!
Good luck.
