One famous drink in Germany is beer. It is the oldest food regulation in the world and is as relevant today as it has ever been; the German Beer Purity Law, according to which German brewer brew their beer. The decree issued in 1516 by duke Wilhelm IV has been throughout the world an epitome of the quality of German beers. 490 years ago the Duke of Bavaria demanded that only natural ingredients should be used in the brewing process, namely nothing but barely and hops. Nowadays you can get beer in almost every country.

Really good. Just a few typographical errors.
"German brewer brew their beer." should be "German brewers brew their beer"
    "duke" should be "Duke"
    and "barely" should be "barley"

I would take you for a native speaker. Very good. I only saw one or two mistakes, and I believe they were typographical rather than actual linguistic issues.

Hi Sanne, very nice writing. I have offered you a rewrite that is more indicative of a native speaker (I know that you would do the same for me with my non-native German). I have taken some liberties with word choice, but I think that I have captured the essence of what you're saying. Once again, your writing is very good. This is only a suggestion.

One famous drink in Germany is beer. It has the oldest food regulation in the world and is as relevant today as it has ever been. This (regulation) is the German Beer Purity Law, (it sets a standard) by which German brewers (must) brew their beer. The decree issued in 1516 by Duke Wilhelm IV set the standard for German brewing and since, has been the epitome of quality throughout the world. 490 years ago, the Duke of Bavaria demanded that only natural ingredients should be used in the brewing process, namely, nothing but barley and hops. Nowadays one can get beer in almost  any country.
