What kind of transportation do you use to get around town? What kind of transportation do you use to go on trips?

I usually use my car to get around town.The same transportation to go on trips but I like to do that , by motorcycle.

First sentenced is perfect.
"I use the same transportation to go on trips, but I prefer to do that on a motorcycle. "
Or you could say "I prefer to do that by motocycle".

I usually use my car to get around town. I also use my car to go on trips but I prefer to go by motorcycle.
