Specialty Meals in my Country.

Describe a popular meal or drink unique to your country. What ingredients are used to make this meal or drink?

I don't know much about typical belgian food. Even though french fries are invented in Belgium (and few people know and acknowledge it), it isn't unique to Belgium. You can get that all over the world. It's available in every (fastfood) restaurant. Generally the Belgian food ressembles the german food. I don't really like real german food though. But this is a personal preference, however most people of my age don't like it. It's because i'm more used to other kinds of food. Italian food is very popular either. The advantage of Italian food is that it's easy to prepare. The most popular drink in Belgium is beer, of course. In my country more than thousand different brands of beer exist. Most people are staggered when they get to hear this fact. I haven't tasted all the brands yet, because i don't drink much alcohol. And the rare brand aren't easy to purchase. The popular ones are prevalent in every store. I don't know how they make beer. Sorry, i'm not an expert at this. Thanks for your understanding.

Seeing that you're obviously already have excellent command of the English language, I will concentrate more on pointing out the relevant rules, rather than focusing on the specific individual errors. It'd be more efficient for both of us.

In English, we always capitalize Country names. You must capitalize I as a word, just like I am doing here, in the middle of a sentence.

      ...*a* thousand different brands

Italian food is very popular either. (???)
Did you mean... Italian food ISN'T very popular either.
or... Italian food IS very popular, on the other hand.

a logistical tip: I suggest that you write in a text editor and copy/paste when you're done. This allows you to view more than 1.5 sentence worth of writing, giving you better control and feedback as you write. It's also more efficient to perform rudimentary editing, such as breaking into 2 or 3 paragraphs. The input box is brutally limited and not condusive to anything beyond 1-liner responses.

Your skill level is way past just getting the spelling and basic grammer correct. You're in the territory of writing skills improvement, which is pretty amazing, consider how young you are.

I find myself following your stuff just for my own reading and cultural pleasure. Merci, Vincent !
