    Voici ma version corrigée: Je vais aller en vacances de 4 jours, 3 nuits en Thaïlande en Janvier 2009, avec ma soeur. Ce voyage est libre parce que ma soeur a gagné un prix. Normalement, nous écrivons les jours avant les nuits (tout comme en chinois). C'est le premier avril 2000. On est le 4 juillet. Je vais aller en mai 2009. Je vais aller au mois de mai. Nous sommes libres à moins que nous sommes en prison! Mais ce voyage est libre lorsque vous n'avez pas à payer. :)

    Attention! Don't mix an English word (nights) with French words! Here there is a bad translation of the word "libre" because "free" in English could mean "libre" or "gratuit" in French. When there is no charge, no $$$, (it is free), we use the word "gratuit". Also we never capitalize months of the year in French. "Je vais aller en vacances PENDANT 4 jours ET 3 nuits en Thaïlande en janvier 2009, avec ma soeur. Ce voyage est GRATUIT parce que ma soeur a gagné un prix."

In fact, I'd setup a list of common English words that translate to multiple French words, and another list in the reverse direction, as quick reference for myself, and to share with others. FREE 1. No charge: Free pizza. (gratuit) 2. Freedom/liberty: Free to go/disagree/speak out (libre) 3. Available/not busy: free in the evenings (libre) 4. lack/void of: guilt-free, fat-free (sans) See, Dawn?     Merci mon ami pour le beau compliment à mon sujet :) Vous avez trouvé de bonnes définitions du mot anglais "free". Pour celui-ci: 3. Available/not busy: free in the evenings Nous disons "disponible". Par exemple: "Je suis disponible tous les soirs".
