PRACTICE THESE WORDS: ►un / une ►un homme, deux hommes, six hommes (don't forget liaison) ►filles ►portefeuille ►bougies ►grands ►vieilles ►riches ►pauvres >>>>> un / ume (You said on for both), un homme une femme, un et une >>>>>Good job! You have a great reading voice--strong, steady and clear. You come across as very pleasant and quite confident. However, quite a few of the words are not pronounced correctly. Your French i and p sounds are generally very good. Just need to learn/brush up on some other French pronunciation rules. Don't forget that h is mute.

A REMINDER: As you know, I'm just a peer learner, a fellow English native speaker. My French listening is excellent, as I have plenty of daily practice. But my grammar and speaking are still *VERY* beginner. So you can trust me in detecting your mistakes, but don't rely on my pronunciation. It's not standard (or even correct). I tried my best. Listen to others more experienced and authoritative.

Ok, but try to reinforce and improve the pronunciation as cuppachino has writed down. One way I think you can improve that is by listening carefuly to the way frenchs speak let's say their way to "sing" the words and sentences, then try mimetics and follow the text until you get the feeling. Pretty good though!

"fille" is pronounce like "fii" "bougIe" think to pronounce the "i" "granD" you pronounce the "d" just when there is an other letter after: for exemple: "granDE" "femme" is said as "fAme" "vieille" take care to pronounce each letter: "vi-è-ii" That's a very good work!
