At the café.

Describe what you order at a café. What is your favorite drink? Do you order a sandwich or pastry?

I rarely go to cafés because I find the prices inflated and the quality deceiving. If and when I am forced to go - for instance, to meet a colleague who is too "cool" to hold meetings in his / her office - I order a tea, which is, habitually, over-brewed. I always order food, because I enjoy eating. However, I am continually amazed at the capacity of businesses to offer quantity in the place of quality.

Wow, you did a fantastic job! Your English is so fluent and vivid. You have a good opening and sound conclusion, which is to the point. You develop your point in cause and effect. You use correct financial phrases and a good example to support your argument. I enjoy reading your writing. Thank you so much for the great work. Best wish to you!

    Hello astroborg,

Great job.  You are obviously fluent in English...and absolutely fluent in American general culture.  Good writing.

Awesome work, it could be the writing of a native, if it weren't so parenthetical!  Excellent and compelling narrative.  Do I detect a little ennui?

Oops!  I slipped into using parentheticals too.  Good writing and grammar keeps each sentence to a single thought.  Also, avoid the use of quotations to express common words.
